Hope Africa South Sudan in partnership with UNDP South Sudan through support from Korea International Cooperation Agency, KOICA conducted a traditional dance for peace and community cohesion for women and girls under the theme “women and girls’ togetherness for peace” in Malual Baai Payam of Aweil East County, Northern Bahr el Ghazal State.
Know more about HASS; Despite the challenges brought by COVID-19, HASS in partnership with UNDPSouthSudan through Korea International Cooperation Agency is implementing Peace and Community Cohesion in Aweil East & Aweil Centre counties of Northern Bahr El Ghazal State. Peace in Aweil is Peace in South Sudan.
Traditional dance for peace and community cohesion is meant for social cohesion among communities and to foster interactions and engagements among women and girls in Malual Baai Payam, Aweil East County, Northern Bahr el Ghazal State.
Much appreciation goes to our partners UNDP and KOICA for helping HASS to conduct a social-cultural event in Malual Baai Payam on 5 December 2020. It was attended by many important dignitaries because our cultures define who we are. Regardless of the background, culture is one’s identity. Thanks to our peace partners. Peace in Malual Baai is peace in Aweil and Peace in Aweil is peace in South Sudan.
