HASS EXPERIENCE IN SOUTH SUDAN

HASS is a partner to UNDP through donations from Korea International Cooperation Agency and this project is Peace & Community Cohesion Project being implemented in Aweil East & Aweil Centre counties. It started in October 2020 and it is still ongoing.

HASS implemented Youth Awareness on the Revitalized Peace Agreement on the Resolution of the Conflict in the Republic of South Sudan in November 2019 and this programme was supported by Democracy International with funding from USAID. HASS is currently implementing COVID-19 Prevention & Response through funding and support from Equity Bank South Sudan.

HASS is a committed member towards Peace and is always using Radios as tools to drive change. This was facilitated by United Nations Mission in South Sudan, UNMISS. HASS is a positive member towards Food Security and Livelihoods, with some few business men of the communities and self funding, HASS implemented seeds distribution project in Aweil East County in 2019.

HASS is also a positive contributor towards Education, HASS was able to do debates competitions, girl child Education awareness in Schools in Central Equatoria State and Northern Bahr El Ghazal State.
